K-Patents Process Refractometers for Chemical recovery

K-Patents provides Process Refractometers for measuring dry solids, liquid density, concentration and Total Titrable Alkali (TTA) in chemical recovery operations.

Our Process Refractometers improve control of the chemical recovery process and optimize energy intensive operations. As a result, the capacity of the evaporators can be increased and the quality of white liquor can be improved by controlling continuously the TTA of the green liquor in the causticizing process.

PR-23-SD K-Patents SAFE-DRIVE™ Process Refractometer PR-23-SD
A retractable refractometer for measuring black liquor dry solids and green liquor density or TTA in Kraft chemical recovery process. K-Patents SAFE-DRIVE™ design allows for safe and easy insertion and retraction of the sensor under full operating pressure without having to shut down the process.

K-Patents Digital Divert Control System DD-23
Digital divert control system for safe operation of Kraft chemical recovery boiler. K-Patents DD-23 system complies strictly with all recommendations of BLRBAC. The DD-23 system includes two K-Patents SAFE-DRIVE™ Refractometer PR-23-SD sensors in the main black liquor line, and two Indicating transmitters and a Divert control unit in an integrated panel. Remote monitoring, and event data logging via Ethernet.


K-Patents Process Refractometer PR-01-S
K-Patents Process Refractometer PR-01-S series has been discontinued effective on September 1, 2013 and replaced by an interchange PR-21-S series.
