Technical Sales Engineer

Job brief

You will work in conjunction with our Asian and European Area Managers and established sales representative network, in order to serve the technical, product and application support needs of our customers in the pulp and paper, chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. As you progress in your career, you will take responsibility for territory management as well as the development of certain assigned industrial segment(s). 

Requirements

You have a MSc. in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper, as well as the ability to develop expert knowledge of our Process Refractometer line and a large variety of industrial process applications. This will allow you to effectively communicate process control and productivity issues to plant managers and operators. The successful candidate will have a basic understanding of process instrumentation and/or process industries. Any experience in industrial sales would be of benefit. Candidates near graduation can be considered. You have a good command of spoken and written English and Finnish, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and willingness to travel up to 100 days/year.

Any other language skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
