Job description:

Janesko Oy is seeking an energetic, detail oriented Embedded Systems Engineer for permanent position to our Vantaa office. This versatile product development and software design position covers customer industries extensively, and includes design work all the way from developing software to process meters, transmitters and interfaces to logic and security system design. As an Embedded Systems Research Engineer you are responsible for maintaining and updating current software for measuring instruments as well as designing, specifying, and implementing new features and new software products for a variety of industry environments and according to customer requirements. We consider direct customer contact important, where also the designer has a direct opportunity to connect with users and actual product conditions in the field. In addition, you answer software-related customer support questions and queries, and provide guidance on product software documentation.

Qualifications:
You have experience in embedded systems and Linux environment as well as of successful project management. We especially hope for a passionate attitude and the ability to visualize the service or product being developed. You tackle challenges and problems briskly, and you are able to finish projects within given deadlines. You can also work with demanding clients in good cooperation. You appreciate transparency and promote up-to-date communication between different stakeholders. This task requires good written and oral English skills. The work includes some travel.

K-Patents is looking for a summer trainee to join our production team between May 15 – August 31, 2017.

Job description
In the heart of our company is the product, K-Patents process refractometer. As a part of the Production team member, you will be responsible for assembling products, receiving and checking incoming parts and other materials, managing warehouse activities and collecting and sending departing goods.

What are we looking for:
You have completed your freshman year in technical university, you are interested in the mechanical and industrial engineering, and by nature you are responsible and you can act on your own initiative. This position requires somewhat dexterity.
