Technical Sales Engineer
(Process Instruments)
The Job
is to work in conjunction with the European Area Manager and with the established Sales Representative network to serve the daily technical, product and application support needs of our customers in the Pulp and Paper, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor and Food Industries, while meeting the profitability and growth objectives of the business.

You
have a Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Chemical Engineering, and ability to develop expert knowledge of our Process Refractometer line and a large variety of industrial process applications to effectively communicate process control and productivity issues to plant managers and operators. A successful candidate will have a basic understanding of process instrumentation and/or process industries. Any experience in industrial sales is a benefit. You have a good command of spoken and written English, excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and willingness to travel up to 100 days/year (primarily in Europe).

Your Tasks will be
  • to search for new customers and applications, and maximizing customer potential
  • to travel with sales representatives to visit customers
  • to perform technical and sales presentations and demonstrate how plant operations can be improved with the K-Patents technology
  • to calculate quotations and co-ordinate sales projects
  • to provide technical sales assistance and product education to sales representatives
